Powers Taylor LLP is seeking a litigation associate for the firm’s nursing home litigation practice.  This attorney position will be responsible for managing a large volume of nursing home cases throughout Texas from initial case evaluation through settlement or trial.  This position will provide an opportunity to handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including working closely with experts, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and other pleadings, and making court appearances to argue and defend motions.  

The ideal candidate for this position is:

• A 2015 – 2018 law school graduate who was in the top half of his or her class.
• A person with experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation in state court.
• A person with excellent writing skills.
